Conservatives Delivering Fair & Affordable Council Tax

After Labour's unacceptable 32% Council Tax hike in just 2 years, the Conservatives are determined to deliver a fair and affordable Council Tax.

Whilst Labour and their Liberal chums, 'spend, spend, spend...', we like all familes understand the need for good, basic housekeeping, which means the books have to balance.

We have set up a special budget task group, which will study the entire Swindon Borough Council accounts.  After 24 years of Labour waste and mismanagement, close and careful scrutiny of the figures will help deliver savings for the long suffering Council Tax payer. 

It is unacceptable that the Labour and Liberals don't take this task group seriously.  Local residents simply can not afford the endless Council Tax hikes voted through by Labour and the Liberals.

It is only the Conservatives who will drive down Council Tax in Swindon.
